We are happy to provide references in relation to work Mainline Contractors have carried out for us.
At our home they converted our triple garage in (2010) into a kitchen, lounge, diner, installing a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, utility room, double glazed windows and built a separate detached garage/outbuilding.
Mainline have also carried out various work (2014 – 2015) to other properties we rent out including repairing roof issues, installing new guttering & complete re-decoration of a property.
They have always been reliable and have a good attitude to problem solving. In one instance we used an architect that had missed out some vital issues. Joe & his team came up with a plan to resolve the problem, the solution even saved us money. They were very tidy & methodical and always finished at the end of the day with a sweep up.
Their work was carried out to a high standard & we are confident to recommend this firm.

Joseph King from Mainline Contractors have undertaken a major renovation project on our house recently. The list of works include; a kitchen extension with external bifold doors, huge kitchen fitted with chimney breast construction, plumbing, electrics, 4 sets of roof lights and roof lanterns, reclaimed parquet flooring laid, internal bifold doors. A new front door entrance constructed with oak front door and a beautiful green oak porch built. Internal walls demolished to create new bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. Full renovation of a main bathroom. Every wall and ceiling has been replastered or skimmed, new double glazed windows throughout the house have been installed and a new boiler and radiators installed.
We decided to live in the house whilst renovations took place. I cannot recommend highly enough Mainline Contractors. From the standard of their work, their reliability & punctuality, tidiness, politeness, attention to detail and how inclusive they were of me and my family. Joseph King project managed this renovation for me and was brilliant at sourcing materials and pulling all the different tradespeople together. I was informed or told about every aspect of the build each day. They even went beyond what was expected of them as I live in an access restrictive lane and often spent their time ferrying deliveries to the house from companies that wouldn’t make the trip up the lane.
Overall, I am thrilled with the outcome. There is nothing that I would want to change. I would never use another building company again. In fact, Joe and his team have recently returned to renovate a large summer house for us, with the same stunning results.
